The UPK Program is a federally-funded program which provides for 135 placements within the Clarence Central School District. It runs five days per week for five hours per day, and the 180-day Clarence Central School District calendar is followed. UPK at the Co-op runs from 9am until 2pm. Lunch is provided by the District at no cost to families. The foundation of the program concentrates on early literacy and math skills. This coming school year, the Co-op will host 18 students with one certified teacher and two teacher’s aides. The District is responsible for the random selection of the students. In order to be eligible for the program, the student must be four years old by December 1st of the school year.
