The Clarence Co-operative Nursery School was established in 1945 in the Town of Clarence and is located inside the Clarence Presbyterian Church. The Co-op offers programs for 3 and 4-year-olds, and is also a Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) host site through the Clarence Central School District. At the Co-op, students cultivate a life-long love of learning as they develop new skills, knowledge, and friendships. Community engagement and the parent presence in the classroom enrich our programs and nourish the family-oriented atmosphere.
Co-operative schools require not just a monetary commitment, but also a commitment of labor and time from each family. However, the rewards are great! Familial involvement allows the parents to be actively involved in the classroom, get to know the other families within the co-op, and bond with their child during the school day.
The Clarence Co-operative Nursery School is a dynamic and nurturing place for learning and growing!
